We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Finance Team.

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated problem solver to manage the day to day running of the councils’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Key tasks will include:

  • respond to and manage the ERP system support mailbox, ensuring that queries are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner
  • provide customer service to colleagues across the Councils on the ERP system
  • maintain, monitor and review system processes, interfaces and procedures
  • support the development of the ERP system, covering purchase to pay (P2P), accounts payable, general ledger, accounts receivable, budget/forecasting and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • keep relevant practices, systems and financial procedures up to date and undertake checks to ensure they operate accurately and effectively
  • as required, support colleagues and work with relevant partners to ensure robust and accurate financial information

About you

You should have experience of using financial systems (preferably Unit 4) and working in a finance department. You will demonstrate a good understanding of the financial and accounting environment.

We are looking for a team player who is highly co-operative and effective when working with others. You should be able to prioritise and manage tasks and apply a flexible approach to problem solving.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Finance systems, are essential for this role.
