The Opportunity

The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of complex, high-value electricity supply customers and will take responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities, whilst attaining growth from existing accounts.

What you’ll be doing

As the Account Manager, you will act as a key point of contact, responsible for developing strong relationships with our key channel partners and customers.

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, you will ensure customers receive a consistently high level of service EBS (EDF Business Solutions).  You will incorporate customer intelligence to develop, maintain and deliver account plans and growth.

In supporting and learning from our team of Senior Account Managers, you will help to identify new and innovative solutions to provide better service and create value for EBS, our channel partners and our customers.

Who you are

We are looking for somebody with the following skills and experience:
 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build connections with channel partner and customer stakeholders
  • Ability to understand intricate contract structures and supply products and effectively articulate the benefits of EDF’s offering
  • Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to support the team in achieving success
  • Strong motivation and self-drive to be able to take the initiative with minimal direction or supervision
  • Ability to proactively devise solutions to complex deal requirements and challenges
  • Able to research and develop a relevant knowledge of customers, current economic and industry trends, and potential new business opportunities
  • Understanding of the energy industry and energy contracting, or capacity to learn these quickly
  • Interest in low/zero carbon products and solutions and how these solutions can support customers on their journey to Net Zero
  • Ambitious and looking to progress further within the I&C Sales environment.
