We’re hiring a Cafe Support Worker.
We’re looking for individuals with catering experience with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!
This inspiring and interesting role combines the opportunity to utilise and develop your catering experience with empowering people with a learning disability to reach their goal of achieving paid employment.
The Barn Cafe at Grimsbury Farm (in Kingswood, Bristol) offers employment training to people with learning disabilities who want a career in catering or hospitality
The cafe's opening hours are 8.30-4.30 and you will work a range of hours across 7 days a week. The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs. You may need to support with personal care and medication needs.

A catering qualification or catering experience in a commercial / business setting.
Experience of working in or running a small business is desirable.
Understanding and knowledge of employment support and employment training for people with learning disabilities will be an advantage.
