Job Purpose and Summary

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for brand activation and partnerships in the Canon Middle East region. The role involves inspiring team members, researching opportunities, presenting findings to stakeholders, and contributing to shaping the company’s future brand experiences. Key attributes for success include teamwork, influence, stakeholder management, self management and effective collaboration, with a strong emphasis on communication. The role is responsible for leveraging local events knowledge, content delivery and opening up partnership opportunities.

What we give

1. Manage Brand Activations and Corporate Programs/events

  • Oversee regional/local brand activations and corporate programs, such as Aktashif, Canon Young People Program
  • Plan and execute physical, virtual, and hybrid corporate events and kick-offs at the regional/local level.

2. Corporate Partnerships

  • Develop local and regional corporate partnerships with government and other institutions to enhance Canon’s brand positioning and presence hence securing positive brand positioning and PR.

3. Internal Engagement

  • Responsible for implementation of internal engagement program across Canon Middle East region, with the objective of increasing employee engagement across the organization and strong morale and sense of belonging.

4. Corporate Hospitality

  • Act as the single point of contact for various corporate hospitality initiatives including planning trips, communication with internal stakeholders, budgeting and follow up.

5. Governance

  • Ensure strong brand governance implementation across the various marketing teams as a standard practice in any sponsorships, partnerships or brand related initiatives for the region.

What we ask

  • Previous experience in a similar role with 3-5 years of multinational experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and develop relevant and engaging content.
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Proven drive and multitasking skills combined with self-management skills to achieve results.
