Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

People are at the heart of our success. We are passionate about bringing great live experiences to the widest possible audience; about giving the world’s best creative talent the stage it deserves; and about providing our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.

As Head of Stage you’ll lead on all aspects of stage infrastructure within the theatre relating to both the production and the building, taking a lead on production stage and carpentry requirements. Working closely with the Technical & Buildings Manager, you will ensure there is an efficient, cost effective and robust maintenance plan in place and delivered, meeting operational and compliance needs from a stage maintenance perspective. You’ll work closely with Technical and Buildings Manager and visiting production and show management to ensure a smooth and safe get in, fit up and get out, ensuring we provide the highest standard of service for the visiting company.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to be a clear communicator, able to closely work with the Technical & Buildings Manager and General Manager to develop an effective working relationship with our visiting companies, the venue team, colleagues in London theatres and ATG’s central services as well as contractors and suppliers; great people skills are as important as technical ability for this position. There’s a good balance in the role between practical technical work and management of the department; please note regular evening and weekend work will be required.
