Central Support Service are looking to recruit highly skilled and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work with learners who have additional learning needs.
This may include learning/physical difficulties, personal care and access support, mental health & wellbeing difficulties, autism and blind or partially sighted. The role involves providing one to one, academic support or group support to learners on cross-college courses.
Experience or qualifications in supporting learners in a learning environment is an advantage. You need to be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills and an understanding of the issues and barriers learners with a learning difficulty and/or disability could encounter.
It is desirable but not essential that you have had experience of working in an educational setting or similar.
Level 2 English and Maths are essential for this post and evidence of qualifications will be required prior to interview.
