We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES). The team are base either Warwickshire’s bases either at Warwick or Bedworth WCC, however you will be expected to work at the ICES depot when required. The team is small and supportive. It consists of Occupational Therapists and a Team Manager with flexible working means working from the office, the depot and home.

The post is a full time (37 hours per week) permanent position, a job share would be considered, if the candidates can meet the requirements of the service.

About the Roleand Key Requirements

As an Occupational Therapist in the Integrated Community Equipment Team you will be joining an exciting, forward thinking and collaborative service at the forefront of the prevention and early intervention agenda for Warwickshire County Council District / Borough Councils and discharge pathway with Health. You will use your OT skills, creativity to contribute towards improving the services.

The main purpose of this role is to support and maintain safe practice and services for Warwickshire residents, health and social care colleagues and service providers. To develop and deliver training to maintain high standards of practice.

The role requires the successful candidate to be able to clearly and concisely communicate. This is so that can maintain positive links with providers and engage with relevant groups.
You will be expected to work autonomously, have excellent organisational skills and be adaptable to new ways of working. You will need to be able to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, work at a fast pace and be dynamic.
