Job Description

Searcys are looking for a People Executive to provide guidance and support at 30 Euston Square.

As a People Executive, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of all People aspects to enable delivery of the People Plan, including: talent management and succession planning, supporting the delivery of the people and talent strategy, recruitment and selection, learning and development, TUPE, mobilizations and Employee Relations

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise Location Managers and Operations Directors on Employee Relations issues
  • Support the Location Managers on delivering their People Plan and actions as required
  • To proactively support Locations to manage short and long term absence cases
  • Support recruitment, including conducting interviews and provide candidate feedback
  • Manage the onboarding and induction of general management, and ensuring all locations onboarding is being conducted
  • Support locations with drafting location-based training plans and personal development plans
  • Contribute to the people team service delivery by being proactive, initiating ideas, projects and having an open and honest approach
  • Be the subject matter expert in line with current legislation and best practices

 

  • Evidence of continuing professional development e.g. working towards or attained CIPD
  • Experience of dealing with complex Employee Relations cases e.g. disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, absence management
  • Service focused, in terms of client and customer service and delivering a high quality people service
  • Ability to develop great working relationships, establishing mutual trust and respect with line manager and challenging the status quo
  • Experience of PeopleSoft systems desirable
