Overall Purpose of the Role

The PMO Analyst supports the Project/Program Management Office (PMO) by tracking information and ensuring smooth project operations. Key duties include analysing and contributing to the portfolio plan, administering project management processes and tools, and managing status reporting. The role also involves overseeing resource, financial, and milestone management, maintaining resourcing strategies and document repositories, running the portfolio management tool, and training users, while providing documentation and guidance on project management practices.

Governance

 

 

 

Manages and maintains the D&T Project Management methodology processes and templates

 

Supports the Project Management community in best practice on all aspects of Portfolio Controls

 

Management of the Project Health Check & Audit schedule

 

Reporting & Investment Review

 

Production of Portfolio Status Reporting Packs

 

Analyses variance reporting produced by the Project Management community (Time, Cost, Scope)

 

Provides early warning of increasing risk profile via report analysis

 

Produces collateral to support the D&T Investment process

Management of PMO & Solutions Delivery Inboxes

 

Raising of POs and associated financial administration tasks
