Based on site at ROH Covent Garden

The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance live on stage at our heritage theatre site here in Covent Garden and reaching out to audiences across the UK and worldwide with our cinema screenings and content through other digital platforms. Our Transformation team service a broad range of requirements across all departments of the organisation and a number of business-critical systems, from customer facing and marketing to scheduling and finance.

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join the busy and dynamic team, leading on areas of the Corporate portfolio. In this role, you will have specific initial responsibility for the implementation of a new integrated HR, payroll and scheduling system – with a focus on change management and ensuring the business works with our implementation partner to deliver a streamlined experience for all key users and stakeholders. Once completed, the role will service other areas of the Corporate portfolio, including our Enterprise systems.

This role will suit a candidate with honed project management skills who can hit the ground running in a fast paced, changing environment. With strong communication skills and a proactive approach, the ideal candidate will be a team player who can demonstrate the following:

  • Current project management certification (Prince 2 practitioner, Agile Project Management or equivalent) teamed with a Technology, Digital, Project Management or relevant degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Evidenced ability to create and deliver work plans using appropriate tools: able to work in Agile or Waterfall project environment.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • The ability to maintain project documentation and develop effective materials for training and communication with stakeholders and end users.
  • Strong experience of business change management and delivering positive change.
  • Developed stakeholder management and relationship management skills, with the ability to gain trust and influence others.

Previous experience of implementing similar Corporate change projects will be highly regarded.
