We are currently looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Mountsorrel in Leicestershire on a fixed term contract for 12 months with a start date of 1st July 2024. This role will offer hybrid working.

In the role of Senior Bid Manager you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the target performance of the Contracting Business through the production of Client-facing documents such as Quality Submissions, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Capability Statements and Case studies either individually or as the leader of a small team
- Liaising with regional operational offices to fully understand Client expectations and develop documentation that meets them
- Managing, mentoring and supporting direct reports
- Working collaboratively with CSD management team to deliver outputs
- Supporting the Head of Commercial Services to set strategy for the department.
- Deputising for the Head of Commercial Services as and when required
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Bid Manager will have experience of:
- Extensive experience of working in a work winning (bid) related role or project management role
- Experience of managing line reports
- Delivering and driving strategy
- Highly analytical
- Leadership skills, the ability to communicate a vision and motivate a team of employees
- Proven expertise in developing work winning strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships through collaboration
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and self driven
- Demonstrates ownership of work and leadership of team members
- Clear and transparent communicator
