As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a dynamic Senior Health and Safety Construction Consultant in London. Joining a supportive network as part of a national team, you will work on an impressive portfolio further enhancing your skill set; with genuine scope for career development.

Within the role, you will have ownership over your projects; providing you with a great level of autonomy. 
 

You can expect to become involved in:

  • Leading world heritage site in the heart of London.
  • Working with a multitude of clients across the public and private sector.
 
 
Your core duties will include:
  • Building on existing client relationships and ensuring commissions are delivered on time.
  • Leading the bid process and undertaking some aspects of business development
  • Supporting junior colleagues on a day-to-day basis.
  • Conducting detailed audits, documenting findings and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Completing site appraisals and risk identifications.
  • Taking an active role in participating in project and design meetings.
  • Conducting thorough site inspections to assess compliance with safety regulations, design specifications and quality standards.
  • Taking full responsibility for your projects, managing every aspect from inception to completion.
 

About You

You will be committed to enhancing our positive working culture, by having a compassionate attitude and always treating others with respect.
 

In order to be considered for this role, you must: 

  • Have significant relevant experience within Health and Safety in a construction consultancy environment.
  • Be proficient in managing projects across the built environment.
  • Have sound knowledge in construction design and building control requirements.
  • Have experience liaising directly with clients.
  • Have excellent client communication skills, report writing skills, presentation skills at project level.

In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you:

  • To be undertaking regular CPD activities.
  • To have experience supporting other members of the team.
  • To have an interest and/or experience in business development activities.
  • To be working towards or achieved NEBOSH Diploma.
